Retribution Paladin leveling build (level 40)

This is a practical solo Ret build: Benediction, Holy Conduit, Sanctified Judgement, and Libram of Invocation keep your mana from collapsing while you judge and reseal; Conviction, Two-Handed Weapon Specialization, Crusade, Sacred Arbiter, and Vengeance multiply both your weapon damage and Holy burst. Pursuit of Justice is a leveling talent, not just a comfort pick: less travel time and easier mob-to-mob chaining are real XP/hour.

Nature’s Cull is the standout weapon: high level-40 DPS, good speed for instant strikes, stamina, AP, and bonus armor. The crafted plate pieces—Steel/Golden/Truesilver-style slots here, especially Truesilver Gauntlets and Officer’s Boots—keep armor high while stacking Strength. Pauldrons of Vindication and Berserker Bracers are premium world/PvP-style stat pieces. Bloodsport Band plus Darkspear Voodoo Seal add passive sustain through hp5/mp5; Defiler’s Talisman gives an emergency physical absorb. Sergeant Major’s Cape is strong if you PvP; otherwise use Corpsefeeder’s Shedding as the easier stamina alternative.

Play with Blessing of Might, Horn of Lordaeron, Retribution Aura, and Seal of Command up. Open harder mobs with Avenging Wrath, then use Divine Storm and Holy Strike on cooldown and judge when available; your talents refund much of the seal cost. Use Consecration only on 3+ enemies or when you have plenty of mana. Against Demons/Undead, Exorcism is worth casting when mana is high. Heal early with Flash of Light, and use Divine Protection before you are forced into Lay on Hands territory.
