The short version

No advertising or analytics trackers. Your builds live in the page address (the part after the ?); sharing a build means sharing that link, and that never needs an account. An optional free account exists for one reason: keeping a list of your saved builds across devices.

Accounts

If you create an account we store your email address, a hash of your password (never the password itself), and the builds you save: talents, gear, level, goal, the name you gave the build and its rating at the time. Sign-in uses a session cookie, which is the only cookie the site sets. Authentication and storage run on Supabase; account emails (activation, sign-in links, password resets) are sent through Mailgun. You can delete your account and every saved build from the account page at any time; builds you published to the leaderboard stay public.

Published builds

Publishing to the leaderboard needs an account, and the entry is linked to it so you can unpublish it later. We store the build itself (talents, gear, level, goal), the name you gave it, the optional author name and description you typed, and a salted hash of your IP address used only to limit how many builds one visitor can publish per hour and to count one vote per visitor. The hash cannot be turned back into your address. Published builds are public by design; do not put personal information in them.

What leaves your browser

Cookies

Apart from the sign-in session cookie, the site sets no cookies. Builds saved before accounts existed sat in your browser's local storage; they are moved into your account the first time you sign in.

Changes

If the site starts collecting anything else, such as an optional Battle.net login to import characters, this page will be updated before that feature goes live.
