1. Bot

   MMO

   A character played by a program, usually farming gold or honor. Reported, banned, replaced.

   “Bots in Tyr's Hand again, every hour.”

2. Buff bot

   MMO

   A player brought to a group just for their buffs. Also a character parked in a city to buff passers-by.

   “We took a paladin as a buff bot, honestly.”

3. Talent

   WoW

   A point you spend in one of three class trees every level from 10. Rows unlock as you spend more; the 31-point talent at the bottom defines the spec.

   “Put your first five talents in Cruelty.”

   “He spent talents in all three trees, classic hybrid mess.”

4. Attack power

   WoW

   Also: AP

   The stat behind physical damage. Strength and agility convert into it differently per class; one point of AP is roughly 1/14 of a DPS point.

   “That's 60 attack power from strength alone.”

   “AP is worth more than crit for a rogue until you have a lot of both.”

5. Consumes

   Raiding & dungeons

   Also: Consumables

   Consumables: flasks, elixirs, potions, food, weapon oils. Raiders spend hundreds of gold a week on them.

   “Bring consumes or don't bother showing up.”

   “Full consumes: Mongoose, Giants, Flask of the Titans.”

6. Draft

   Esports

   Picking and banning characters before a match. The first fight.

   “Lost in the draft, they got both S-tiers.”

7. Enchant

   MMO

   A permanent bonus applied to an item by an enchanter. Crusader, +15 agility, Mongoose.

   “Crusader enchant on both weapons.”

   “Cheap enchants on twink gear are a sin.”
