    Dragon kill points: a guild's loot currency, earned by attending raids and spent bidding on items.

    I've saved 400 DKP for the Ashkandi.

    Minus 50 DKP for standing in the fire.

    A gold DKP run: loot goes to the highest gold bid, and the pot is split among everyone at the end. Banned in some versions of the game for feeding gold buying.

    Someone who takes loot they shouldn't — needing on everything, or a master looter giving items to themselves. 'Ninja'd' means it happened to you.

    He ninja'd the epic and left the group.

    A second tank for adds, tank swaps or whatever the main tank isn't holding.

    An enemy that walks a route rather than standing still. The reason pulls go wrong.

    Wait for the pat to pass.

    Point of view: a stream or recording from one player's screen.

    The person calling the pulls, the strategy and the loot. Usually the one who spent all week reading strategies.

    Real-money trading: buying gold or items with actual money. Against the rules, everywhere, always.

    Half the server's gold came from RMT and everyone knows it.

    A team's ranking going into a tournament, deciding who they play first.

    Top seed gets the weakest opponent in round one.
