Why it works

This build plays around Lone Wolf, so keep the pet dismissed for the 20% all-attack damage bonus. Marksmanship supplies the core multipliers: Lethal Attacks, Careful Aim, Mortal Shots, Barrage, Ranged Weapon Specialization and Sniper Shot. Survival adds Improved Tracking and Surefooted; with 60 hit rating from Cryptstalker Tunic, Cryptstalker Wristguards, Belt of Never-ending Agony, Cryptstalker Boots, Band of Unnatural Forces and Kiss of the Spider, Surefooted brings you to the 9% boss hit cap without wasting extra hit slots.

The gear favors Naxx/AQ ranged stat pieces: Cryptstalker mail for agility, crit, mp5 and exact hit pieces; Stormrage's Talisman and Cloak of the Fallen God for high crit/agility value once hit is solved; Band of Reanimation as the no-hit agility ring; Slayer's Crest plus Kiss of the Spider for the strongest offensive trinket pairing. Lok'delar is used as a crit/intellect stat stick, while Larvae of the Great Worm is the best ranged weapon here from raw DPS plus crit/AP.

Keep Heart of the Lion, Trueshot Aura and Aspect of the Hawk up. Track the target’s creature type to activate Improved Tracking. Mark the target, apply Serpent Sting, then use Chimera Shot to refresh it. Use Rapid Fire and trinkets on bosses or dangerous packs, cast Sniper Shot and Aimed Shot when stationary, and swap to Explosive Trap/Multi-Shot for 3+ targets. Arcane Shot is a mana-positive filler only when you are comfortable on mana.
