Level 39 Frost Mage twink build

This is a Frost control build: Improved Frostbolt, Ice Shards, Piercing Ice, Shatter, Ice Lance, Fingers of Frost, Ice Block and Cold Snap give you the classic twink win condition—create a freeze, land a huge Shatter window, then reset before the enemy can connect. Improved Frost Nova and Arctic Reach make your spacing more reliable, while Frostbite/Fingers add extra surprise kill windows without needing to stand still.

The gear leans toward the PvP toughness knee rather than pure glass-cannon spell power. The provided curve shows balance 60 as the sweet spot: about 1220 HP from gear and 475 armor for only around a 7% throughput loss; beyond that, each extra HP costs much more damage. Key picks are Discarded Circlet, Souvenier Sea Shell, Defiler’s Cloth Boots/Girdle, Darkspear Signet, and Defiler’s Talisman for stamina and armor, while Azure Shoulders, Frothing Handwraps, Dustfall Robes, Condor Bracers, and Celestial Orb keep Frost damage high. The boots’ run speed is mandatory in PvP. I skipped the obvious QA/test spell-damage rings because they are not realistic twink items.

Play by keeping Arcane Intellect and Ice Armor up. Open with Polymorph when you can, position, then force pressure with Frostbolt or Frozen Orb. Use Frost Nova into Ice Lance/Cone of Cold for burst; cast Ice Lance whenever the target is frozen or Fingers of Frost is active. Fire Blast finishes low-health targets or adds instant damage while moving. Blink breaks bad positioning, and Ice Block is your emergency reset—after the enemy commits cooldowns, block, then re-engage with another freeze chain.
