Level 49 Arms Warrior twink build

Cull Reaper Twink” — Player vs player.

A two-handed Mortal Strike PvP twink built around polearm crits, healing reduction, strong stamina, and enough control to stick to targets in the 49 bracket.

Solid. A few specific changes below would lift it further.

Why it works

This is a classic Arms kill-pressure setup: Mortal Strike is the reason to be here, Impale and Deep Wounds punish crits, Weaponmaster gives Nature’s Cull the axe/polearm crit bonus, and Improved Tactical Mastery keeps rage while stance dancing for Intercept, Pummel, and Overpower. The remaining Fury points take Cruelty for more burst and Iron Will for shorter stuns and fears.

Nature’s Cull is the centerpiece: a slow hard-hitting polearm with stamina, attack power, and bonus armor, and it fully benefits from Weaponmaster. Defiler’s Plate Greaves are mandatory PvP boots because the built-in run speed helps you connect without giving up plate stats. Defiler’s Plate Girdle, Berserker Bracers, Truesilver Gauntlets, Officer’s Pauldrons, and Honor Guard’s Plate keep your armor and strength high, while Pirate’s Eye Patch adds stamina, agility, and fear resistance. The two hit/AP trinkets are chosen because missing a Mortal Strike or Pummel loses fights; swap one to an Arathi Basin absorb trinket if you want a more defensive flag-carry set.

On the toughness curve, I would not go all-survival: the knee is around balance 70, where you still keep the hit/crit package and only give up about 13% throughput for a large stamina gain. Past that, balance 85 drops hit and crit and costs too much kill pressure.

Play aggressively: open with Charge, apply Hamstring immediately, keep Mortal Strike on cooldown, and save Pummel for real casts even though it appears in the priority. Use Shockwave/Sweeping Strikes to win clumps, Rend to keep rogues or druids from clean resets, and Enraged Regeneration when you are low and have the required enrage state.
