Feral Combat Druid leveling build (level 40)

This goes 31 points deep Feral because level 40 is exactly where you can reach Leader of the Pack. Ferocity makes your main cat buttons cheaper, Feline Swiftness cuts travel time outdoors, Sharpened Claws plus Leader of the Pack raises crit, Blood Frenzy turns cat crits into faster finishers, and Heart of the Wild gives a large form-stat boost for both Cat damage and Dire Bear safety. Feral Charge is included because it lets you swap to bear and stop casters, which is excellent while soloing.

The gear is built as a feral stat set: agility for crit/dodge, strength and attack power for faster kills, then stamina so you can pull aggressively. The biggest offensive pieces are Quillward Harness from Razorfen Downs trash, Forest Stalker's Bracers, Gloves of Holy Might, Basilisk Hide Pants, Ogron's Sash, Protector's Band, and Assault Band. Viscous Hammer is used as a two-handed stat stick: in forms you care about its strength, attack power and stamina more than its weapon damage. Highlander's Leather Boots are especially good while leveling because the run-speed effect helps whenever Cat Form speed is not enough.

Keep Mark of the Wild and Thorns up, travel in Cat Form, and open from Prowl with Ravage when practical. Apply Faerie Fire (Feral), use Rake if the target will live long enough, build with Claw, then spend on Rip at 5 combo points or Ferocious Bite to finish low-health enemies. If you get in trouble, Rejuvenation early, shift Dire Bear, and use your bear tools to stabilize before healing or running.
