Talents: 5/5 Twin Disciplines boosts your instant PvP kit: Shadow Word: Pain, Shadow Word: Death, Renew-style healing, and other instant pressure. 3/3 Improved Power Word: Shield is the core twink pick because a bigger shield is often the difference between casting and dying. The last 2 points go into Silent Resolve for shorter stun, fear, and silence chains.

Gear: This set leans hard into stamina without giving up spell pressure. Discarded Circlet, Corpsefeeder's Shedding, Aka'rai's Tattered Vestments, Surfer Shoes, Elderwild Construction Hammer, and A Lesson in Destruction are the big survival pieces. Shadow Gloves and Shadow Sash keep your kill pressure high. Greater Magic Wand is your best wand filler when conserving mana. The two spell-power rings are the throughput engine; if your server removes test/beta items, replace the QATest ring with Malignant Root or Desolate Band. Use the Horde Greater Insignia instead of the Alliance one if needed.

Toughness: The curve’s knee is around balance 30–40: going from 30 to 40 adds about 150 HP for only ~15 throughput, still excellent for PvP. Past 40–50 you gain less HP per damage lost. This build is closer to the tough side because dead priests do zero damage.

Play: Prebuff Fortitude and Inner Fire. Keep Power Word: Shield up whenever possible, dot with Void Plague and Shadow Word: Pain, then force cooldowns with Starshards. Save Psychic Scream for melee collapses or peel, Silence enemy healers/casters, and use Shadow Word: Death to finish targets under 20%. Pain Suppression, Desperate Prayer, Divine Grace, Insignia, and Cocoon are your reset buttons.
