Level 39 Subtlety Rogue twink build

This is a Subtlety-first twink: Master of Deception, Camouflage, Dirty Tricks, Elusiveness, Premeditation, Preparation and Hemorrhage give you the PvP tools that matter most—better openers, cheaper Sap/Blind, shorter reset cooldowns, and a cheap combo-point builder. Malice adds universal crit, while Improved Gouge makes your control chain much safer.

The gear leans into the PvP knee of the survival curve rather than pure glass-cannon damage. Around the standard/balanced set you can sit near 1460 HP from gear for only about a 5% throughput loss versus the maximum-damage set; pushing much higher starts costing noticeably more burst. Scoutmaster's Eyepatch, Raptor Hunter Tunic, Corpsefeeder's Shedding, Insurgent's Band and the Defiler's trinket supply the stamina that lets you survive counter-openers. Nightscape Shoulders, Blooded Pants, Skulker's Gloves and Overgrown Cuffs keep agility/AP high. Defiler's Leather Boots are mandatory-quality PvP boots because they combine stamina, agility, armor and run speed. Greatflank Flayer is chosen in both hands because its weapon DPS and stamina are far ahead of the bracket options; Hemorrhage does not require a dagger.

Play from Stealth whenever possible: Sap to isolate, Premeditation into Cheap Shot, then Hemorrhage for points. Use Kidney Shot at 4+ combo points unless the target is already dying, where Eviscerate closes. Gouge buys time to pool energy, restealth, bandage, or interrupt a setup. Blind and Vanish are your reset buttons; Preparation should be used after you have spent key cooldowns so you can do it again. Kick aggressively into casters, and use Ghostly Strike when trading melee damage for the dodge window.
