Level 49 Subtlety Rogue twink build

This is a PvP-first control/burst build: Assassination gives Malice, Murder, full Lethality, Relentless Strikes, and Cold Blood for lethal execute windows, while Subtlety reaches Premeditation, Preparation, and Hemorrhage. You give up Mutilate/Seal Fate, but gain the stronger twink toolkit: better openers, cheaper control, Vanish/Blind cooldown pressure, and a spammable low-cost builder.

The gear sits near the PvP toughness knee: roughly the balance 50–70 region from the curve, keeping the two +Hit/+AP trinkets for about 1.4% hit and 84 AP while stacking around 170+ stamina from gear. Going to the 85 survival set only buys about 240 more HP over balance 70 but drops throughput from −9% to −19% and loses the hit package, so it is too expensive for a rogue that wins by ending fights during control.

Key picks: Pirate’s Eye Patch is excellent stamina with anti-Fear value; Sergeant’s Cape, Defiler’s Leather Boots, and Warden’s Leather Shoulder add armor/stamina without gutting damage; Defiler’s Leather Girdle is premium PvP burst with crit and AP. Use Legionnaire’s Sword main hand because Hemorrhage likes a slow, high-damage weapon, with Greatflank Flayer off hand for stamina and strong offhand DPS.

Play from Stealth: Sap to isolate, Premeditation into Cheap Shot, build with Hemorrhage, and either Kidney Shot at 5 combo points for control or Cold Blood + Eviscerate when the target is low. Gouge is for energy pooling or peeling, Kick must be saved for real casts, and Blind/Vanish/Preparation let you reset when the first kill window fails.
