Level 29 Marksmanship Hunter twink build

This build goes 20 points into Marksmanship because level 29 can reach the real payoff: Aimed Shot plus Mortal Shots. Improved Concussive Shot gives a stun proc on your most important kite button, Lethal Shots and Mortal Shots make ranged crits lethal, and Hawk Eye lets you start fights from farther away than most opponents can answer.

The gear set is a PvP-balanced stamina/burst setup. Frostreaver Crown, Sparkleshell Mantle, Blackened Defias Armor, and Lorekeeper’s Staff keep your health high, while Sentinel’s Medallion, Tigerstrike Mantle, Petrolspill Leggings, Highlander’s Chain Greaves, and Protector’s Band preserve the agility you need for ranged pressure. Highlander’s Chain Girdle is excellent because its +24 Attack Power is direct ranged damage. Ironweaver is the ranged weapon pick for the highest listed weapon DPS and strong Aimed Shot hits. The trinkets are pure PvP utility: Insignia of the Alliance breaks stuns/slows/roots, and Talisman of Arathor buys time against physical focus.

On the survival curve, this setup sits around the practical PvP knee near the 50–60 balance range: roughly the high-stamina, 793-armor style set while giving up about 8–14% throughput versus the glassier damage sets. Pushing toward 70 adds more HP, but the next steps start costing noticeably more burst.

Play by opening from max range: Hunter’s Mark, Rapid Fire if committing, then Aimed Shot. Keep Concussive Shot and Wing Clip for distance, use Serpent Sting only when you are not trying to preserve crowd control, and swap to Monkey/Insignia/Talisman when a rogue or warrior forces melee.
