Why it works

This is a deep Beast Mastery solo build: Endurance Training, Thick Hide, Improved Revive Pet, Unleashed Fury, Ferocity, Frenzy, Bestial Discipline, Intimidation, and Bestial Wrath all make the pet tougher, faster, and more reliable as your personal tank. Bestial Swiftness is excellent while questing outdoors, and the single Spirit Bond point adds passive sustain while your pet is active.

Gear favors ranged kill speed first, then stamina and sustain. Bow of Searing Arrows is the key weapon because ranged weapon DPS matters more than almost any other slot while leveling. Manslayer is a strong stat stick with stamina and attack power from Razorfen Downs. Big agility/stamina pieces like Warden's Wizard Hat, Flintrock Shoulders, Wolffear Harness, Basilisk Hide Pants, Forest Stalker's Bracers, Scout's Medallion, Ring of the Underwood, and Assault Band keep your shots strong while making mistakes less punishing. Highlander's Chain Greaves are especially valuable because the run-speed effect saves time on every quest route. Rune of Duty plus Defiler's Talisman give passive toughness and a physical absorb for bad pulls.

Play by keeping Heart of the Lion and Aspect of the Hawk up, sending the pet first, then marking tougher targets. Use Serpent Sting on anything that will live long enough, then Chimera Shot to hit hard and refresh it. Bestial Wrath and Kill Command are your main “delete this mob” buttons, especially against elites or accidental adds. Multi-Shot is for 3+ enemies; Arcane Shot is your mana-dump when you are comfortable. If things go wrong, Mend Pet early, kite with slows if needed, and Feign Death to reset instead of dying.
