Retribution Paladin leveling build (level 40)

This is a 31-point Retribution leveling build: Seal of Command plus Two-Handed Weapon Specialization makes a slow weapon hit hard, while Conviction feeds Vengeance for a large Physical and Holy damage boost after crits. Benediction and Improved Judgement reduce your seal/judgement downtime cost, Pursuit of Justice cuts travel time, Sanctity Aura boosts your Holy damage, and Repentance gives a safe opener or emergency crowd control.

The gear leans Strength, Stamina, crit, and practical dungeon/PvP pieces. Bonebiter is the key weapon: its slow 3.4 speed and +20 Strength are ideal for Seal of Command. Raging Berserker's Helm supplies the important +1% crit for Vengeance uptime. Carapace of Tuten'kash, Scarlet Leggings, Highlander's Plate Girdle, Berserker Bracers, and Plated Fist of Hakoo give a strong mix of plate armor, Strength, Agility, and Stamina. Rune of Duty and Arena Master are simple solo trinkets: more health, passive sustain, fewer bad deaths.

Play with Blessing of Might, Horn of Lordaeron, Sanctity Aura, and Seal of Command active. Open with Repentance when you need control, then let your slow two-hander, Divine Storm, and Crusader Strike carry the kill. Use Exorcism only when you have plenty of mana or need burst, because it is expensive. If health gets low, swap to Seal of Light, stun with Hammer of Justice, and use Divine Shield or Lay on Hands only when necessary.
