Why it works

This is the classic deep-Holy healer setup with Divine Spirit: Discipline supplies Silent Resolve, Improved Fortitude, Inner Focus, Meditation, Mental Agility, and Divine Spirit, while Holy takes the core healing package—Healing Focus, Improved Renew, Divine Fury, Inspiration, Improved Healing, Spiritual Guidance, and Spiritual Healing. You give up Power Infusion to gain much stronger baseline healing and the raid-wide Spirit buff.

The gear prioritizes +healing first, then mp5, Spirit, and Intellect. The Faith pieces are excellent all-round healer items with Spirit and mp5; Hammer of the Twisting Nether plus Sapphiron's Right Eye is the strongest listed weapon pairing for raw healing and sustain. Rejuvenating Gem is your best passive trinket, while Eye of the Dead is saved for heavy damage windows. Empowered Leggings and Boots of Pure Thought are chosen over set pieces for exceptional healing throughput.

Play by keeping Power Word: Fortitude, Divine Spirit, Inner Fire, and Fear Ward active where relevant. Use Greater Heal as your main efficient tank heal, Heal as a cheaper downrank-style filler, Flash Heal only for urgent saves, and Power Word: Shield to prevent deaths while a real heal is coming. Prayer of Healing is for group damage, especially with Inner Focus. Renew is best while moving or on targets taking steady damage. Avoid overhealing: start long casts early, cancel if the target is topped, and lean on Meditation plus mp5 for long encounters.
